London & Kaedyn's Blessing Day

We were able to have a dual baby blessing at our home last Friday. London & Kaedyn were blessed. They both looked so sweet "all dressed in white." It was wonderful! I just love baby blessings. I wasn't able to get a picture of London with her Rhoton Grandparents, but we're so glad they made it. They helped us cook dutch oven chicken & potatoes for everyone. mmm...good.

Calla is never very good at posing for pictures. Every time she sees the camera, she heads straight for it, instead of just staying where she is!

Today was just SO HOT! I had to stop doing laundry for a while, and take a water break with the kids.

Our Rhoton Family Reunion

OK, I have decided that it's really not fair that I follow all these blogs, and really enjoy reading other people's posts; but do not have a blog of my own. So, I'm turning over a new leaf and beginning my days as a "blogger-girl!" Hopefully, I will be good at this. My mom keeps telling me, "I hope you're writing all this stuff down," every time I call to tell her something funny one of the kids did. I admit-I haven't been. Past their first birthday, I stink at keeping journals/scrapbooking for my kids; so maybe this will be a good way for me to record the funny day-to-day stuff that happens at our house... Maybe it will even be therapeutic for me!! Heaven knows I need a creative outlet these days.
